Skincare for Your 20s & 30s - The Essentials
Hey there! We're Amie & Mitchele, the founders of an Australian skincare and SPF brand, and as two women in our 30s, we know firsthand how overwhelming the skincare world can be. With so many products on the market, it's easy to get lost in the clutter, and let’s be real—our vanities used to be full of bottles and tubes that promised the world, but didn’t always deliver. We knew we needed to protect our skin, but after months of trial and error, we found a gap in the market for a gentle, effective, and chemical-free product that blurred the lines between sunscreen and skincare.
That’s why we created our hero product—a rich, rejuvenating 4-in-1 serum, moisturizer, primer, and SPF. It’s formulated to provide high UV protection while being gentle on the skin and your hormones. Our goal was to simplify the skincare routine, with fewer steps, less confusion, and healthier, radiant skin.
So, if you're approaching your late 20s or early 30s, here’s what we’ve learned about taking care of your skin during this important time.
1. Never Skip SPF
Let’s start with the most important step: sunscreen. We know, we know—everyone says it, but it’s crucial. As we enter our 30s, UV protection is key to keeping your skin looking youthful. UV rays are one of the leading causes of premature aging, and we know that no one wants to see those first signs of wrinkles or skin damage sooner than necessary!
Even if it’s cloudy or you're having a lazy day indoors, always apply your SPF. Those UV rays can still get through windows. We've made it easy for you by creating a product that combines SPF protection with skincare—so you’re never skipping it.
The key takeaway here? The best sunscreen is the one you’ll actually wear.  We opted for a mineral-based sunscreen that creates a physical barrier to protect your skin immediately, without the irritation some chemical sunscreens can cause. Plus, it's safe and gentle for all skin types, so you can rest easy knowing it’s good for your skin (and your hormones).
2. Opt for Clean, High-Quality Ingredients
At this stage in our skincare journey, we’ve learned the importance of choosing the right ingredients. Your skin absorbs what you put on it, so it’s essential to choose products that are both effective and nourishing. Look for formulas packed with antioxidants like Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and peptides to rejuvenate and hydrate your skin, all while avoiding harsh chemicals, fragrances, and parabens.
We know that sometimes less is more - no fillers, no unnecessary additives—just ingredients that work to give you healthy, glowing skin.
3. Embrace Chemical-Free Products
Going chemical-free is more than just avoiding potential irritants—it’s about choosing products that are gentle, natural, and kind to both your skin and the environment. Choose products that are free from harsh chemicals, and embrace a more botanical approach with ingredients like Kakadu Plum, jojoba oil, and sea buckthorn for their ability to hydrate, calm, and restore your skin, naturally (yay for all).
When you make the switch to chemical-free skincare, you’re not just nurturing your skin; you’re also supporting a more sustainable and toxin-free lifestyle. We’re all about making healthy choices for both you and the planet!
4. Hydration is Everything
As your skin matures, it naturally loses moisture more easily. Staying hydrated is essential to keep your skin plump and youthful. That means drinking plenty of water and using moisturizers that lock in hydration.
Thanks to the magic of hyaluronic acid (found in our 4 in 1 Day Creme!) drawing moisture into the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines has never been easier!
By sticking to these simple steps, you’re giving your skin the care it deserves and setting yourself up for healthy, radiant skin as you enter your 30s and beyond. Trust us—your future self will thank you!
Elevated skincare, simplified routines. High quality products that are clean, easy & effective.
With love,
